As weekly and daily headlines report skyrocketing increases in rent and a lack of affordable housing, a group of Spokane builders have come together to support Habitat for Humanity-Spokane’s efforts to build decent affordable homes.
It’s the busiest time of year for home builders and contractors, but that hasn’t stopped nearly three dozen local companies and industry professionals from stepping up to support Habitat for Humanity-Spokane’s Home Builders Blitz.

Habitat for Humanity-Spokane is engaging women throughout the community to work together to build Habitat homes during their Women Build event March 6-9. This years’ event coincides with International Women’s day Friday, March 8, and Habitat-Spokane anticipates the number of volunteers to double from last years’ event. In total, they anticipate more than 100 women will participate.
