Seeking to put God's love into action, Habitat for Humanity-Spokane brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.

No matter who we are or where we come from, we all deserve to have a decent life. Every single one of us deserves the opportunity for a better future, and decent shelter is something we all need to thrive.

Habitat-Spokane homeowners receive financial education, help build their houses and pay an affordable mortgage. When they partner with us, they start down a new path — one with far fewer barriers to a better, healthier, more financially stable life.

Habitat-Spokane builds for everyone– every child, every parent, every person deserves to feel strength, stability and self-reliance. We build houses or housing solutions; specifically, the construction of new single and multifamily houses, as well as the rehabilitation, repair, and incremental building of existing homes.

Habitat for Humanity participates in disaster recovery tool-kits’ and shelters, weatherization efforts, water and sanitation projects, housing micro finance systems, and the maintenance of schools and community buildings.

Habitat-Spokane also builds in the mind and spirit of the community: relationships, families, good health, tolerance for different faiths and ethnicities, training in construction skills, training in financial and legal literacy, and advocates to speak for a world where everyone has a decent place to live.

At Habitat for Humanity-Spokane we work alongside those who need an affordable place to call home to build not only houses, but also a universal sense of human dignity. Habitat for Humanity-Spokane, through the grace of God, is building a different community, one family at a time.
