homeownership

Habitat for Humanity-Spokane builds homes in partnership with qualified buyers in the community based on their need, ability to pay and willingness to partner. In return, Habitat builds or renovates a safe, decent, energy efficient and healthy home. Each home is built for the size and needs of the future homeowner. Qualified future homeowners work closely with our Qualified Loan Originators and pays affordable monthly mortgage payments that are no more than 30% of gross monthly income.

why rent when you can own?

For almost thirty years, Habitat for Humanity-Spokane has been helping hardworking families achieve their dream of homeownership. We have built more than 270 homes, transformed communities and the lives of families.

Did you know? The average rent in Spokane is close to $600 for a single family. As rent continues to rise, Habitat-Spokane offers your family the stability of a home of your own with predictable payments to help you achieve not only the dream of homeownership, but the other dreams you have for you and your family.
