Funding is at great risk for the federal programs that support Habitat for Humanity and the families we serve. Over the next several months, it is vital that members of Congress hear from as many Habitat advocates as possible about the importance of these programs! Let’s BUILD LOUDER together!

Funding is at great risk for the federal programs that support Habitat for Humanity and the families we serve. Over the next several months, it’s vital that members of Congress hear from as many Habitat advocates, as possible about the importance of these programs. Let’s BUILD LOUDER together!

Step 2: Fill out your post cards!

Write your call to action! Tell Congress why they should support affordable housing programs. 
If you need some inspiration for personal messages to include in the body of the postcard, take a look at @BuildLouder on Twitter. Be sure to use the #BuildLouder and tag the representative that the postcard is addressed to.

Step 3: Mail the Take Action Post Cards

Send the postcards to the Washington D.C. office of the U.S. Representatives and Senators that represent Spokane, WA. Everyone can fill out up to three postcards: one for their Representative (Cathy McMorris Rodgers in Spokane, WA) and two for their Senators (Patty Murray and Maria Cantwell for WA State).
Make sure to include a return address.Congressional offices will only process the mail if there are return addresses included, demonstrating the mail does come from constituents.
