Three new Habitat homeowners received their keys on Thursday
Three Habitat for Humanity homeowners received the keys to their new homes Thursday—homes that thousands of volunteers worked alongside them to build. Because volunteers gave the gift of their time and their talents, and our generous donors gave monetary contributions, these new homeowners will start to pay an affordable mortgage and will achieve the strength, stability, and self-reliance they need to build a better future. We are so grateful for all of you who made the dream of homeownership a reality for these new homeowners.
Ramone has never owned a home before. And this year is the first time he has had a Christmas tree since he was a kid.

Nicky and Fay worked on eight Habitat homes to complete their 500 hours of sweat equity. As far as getting the keys to their new home, Nicky says,
