Hope Builders Luncheon 2019
Join us Thursday, April 25, 2019
11:30 AM – 1:00 PM
Spokane Convention Center
Come celebrate the impact of Habitat for Humanity-Spokane’s work in our community and support our continued efforts to build and improve places to call home for families in need of a hand up. Our annual luncheon is our most important fundraiser of the year, and we need your help to raise critical funds. Funds that will be used to build a stronger community while providing the opportunity for affordable homeownership to qualified individuals and families.
Habitat-Spokane is excited to welcome keynote speaker Mandy Manning, the 2018 National Teacher of the Year and English teacher at Ferris High School. Manning will share her personal experience as an educator, highlighting the negative effects unstable housing has on educational outcomes. She will give testament to the positive impacts a stable home can have on the lives of students. Read more about Mandy Manning.
Doors open at 11:30 am on April 25 and the program begins at noon. In addition to keynote speaker Mandy manning, attendees of the luncheon will hear powerful testimony from current Habitat homeowners and how their Habitat homes have changed their lives. Attendees will also hear from hopeful future homeowners.
